Needless to say that a place like this, surrounded by lush nature, located in a place like the Ebro Canyons, is attractive in any season. The atmosphere of the room changes with the time of year, accompanied by changes to the surrounding vegetation along their annual cycle. This change of sensations invites guests to repeat their visit at different times of the year, thus completing the imagery we have of the places we visited more than once.
During the spring, the rain fills the streams and feeds the spectacular waterfalls.
In the summer, the forests are full of the bustle of flora and fauna and the mild temperatures invite us to enjoy the starry nights.
In autumn, the trees dress in multicolored finery, and the animals do not rest preparing for the colder months.
In winter, when bizarre formations set the waterfalls, the nakedness of the trees reveals the depth of the landscape and the combination of lights and colors provides a more dreamy environment.

For nature lovers, fans of mushrooms, flora and fauna in general, and specially bird watching, La Puebla entails an ideal base camp to undertake numerous excursions to explore the surroundings.
If we remain patient and lucky, we can see some of the many animals inhabiting the area.
From the first steps we take, we will enjoy the rich vegetation of the riparian forests; from the first moment we open the window of our room we can contemplate the flight of the vultures and other raptors and we can try to distinguish numerous species of other birds in the intimate concert from the nearby forest; The humid environment provided by the stream, the waterfall, the pools and the Ebro river itself at the bottom of the valley give shelter to a wide variety of amphibians and reptiles.
Active tourism
A wide variety of sports activities await the most “restless” of our visitors.
To our more “restless” visitors a wide variety of sport activities awaits, such as family trekking, walking from the town itself, since it is the origin of several GR and PR routes, appropriate even for the youngest guests of La Puebla;
Climbing, canoeing and, of course, speleology can also be practiced, since the territory has a large number of caves. Some of these caves, like the one of our town or the Cueva de los Franceses, located near Aguilar de Campoo, offer guided tours. Other caves are frequented by associations and clubs of fans to the speleology. The offer is completed with the most adventurous activities, such as bungee jumping, paragliding or rafting, organized by some companies in the area.

In addition to the aforementioned attractions offered by nature and the possibilities of developing a sporting activity, there is a great historical and cultural heritage.
Together with the possibilities that nature and sport bring, there is the great historical and cultural heritage that treasures the territory where La Puebla is located. This allows us to travel back in time to past eras.
Thanks to the deposits discovered, we know that this area has human presence since Prehistory . We can visit the remains of ancient villages, funerary constructions or rituals.
If we make a leap forward in the timeline, the traces left by the Romans as they pass through these lands await us; Another leap takes us to Rock Art, and the next leap brings us closer to Romanesque Art.
